After the Consecration of Russia

Dear faithful,



Pope Francis consecrated Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on March 25, feast of the Annunciation of Our Lady.  Now, the big question is "was the Consecration of Russia done by Pope Francis on March 25, 2022 done properly, according to the will of Our Lady?"



The answer to that question is very simple: time will tell us.  If it was done properly, we should see the fulfillment of the signs given by Our Lady: Russia will convert to the Catholic Church, a time of peace will given to the world and the Immaculate Heart of Mary will triumph.



In the apparition of July 13, 1917, Our Lady stated "If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted and there will be peace; if not, it will spread its errors throughout the world"  Pay attention that it is not a hypothetical wish, but really an absolute promise: "Russia will be converted and there will be peace".



Father Alonso, probably the top expert on Fatima of the 20th century, questioned Sister Lucy on the word of Our Lord: "The Pope will consecrate Russia, but it will be late," she indicated to him that "the consecration of Russia and also the final triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary which will follow it, are absolutely certain and will be accomplished despite all the obstacles."



So, there is not even a shade of doubt that, if Russia has been properly consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on March 25, 2022, this country will convert.  But how and when it will happen?  We don't know all the details of Our Lady's agenda but something for sure. Russia will convert.



Now, how it will happen?  In his book Russia will be converted, John Haffert - founder of the Blue Army - relates that, in May of 1946, a Russian girl went to the International Marian Congress at Fatima where she met Sister Lucia, who told her that the conversion of Russia would be completed through the Orthodox Church and the Oriental Rite. It means the Greek-Catholic Church united with Rome will be the instrument of the conversion of the Russian Orthodox Church to the unity with the Holy See, and thus the end of the old schism.



This being said, could we find some early signs of the fulfillment of the promise of Our Lady?  I will discuss that topic at the beginning of my Adult catechism of Monday April 4, at 7:00pm.



But, no matter of what is happening now in Russia and in the Ukraine, there is something that you can do right now, to help with the fulfillment of the beautiful promises that accompany the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  Our Lady gave us a role to play here to participate in the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart.



It is with the First Saturdays of reparation. And that begins this Saturday, April 2.  If you haven’t done it yet, start now. If you’ve already done it, do it again. Do it every First Saturday and offer it up for those who have neglected this. Offer your daily Rosary. Offer more than one for souls who have not prayed the Rosary. This is our obligation now to renew our commitment to Our Lady and fulfill her requests against the errors of Russia.
